Headaches
There are few conditions that affect your quality of life like headaches. Headaches can come from migraines, pain the upper portion of the neck, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and trauma. Migraines are often managed through medications but recent research into the trigeminocervical nucleus has suggested that reducing pain input from the neck and TMJ through physical therapy can be beneficial for those suffering from migraines, resulting in decrease pain frequency, pain intensity and medication use. Trauma/concussions often create physical restrictions within the cranium and dura which are most effectively mobilized through craniosacral therapy. Clinicians at Precision have training from Michigan State School of Osteopathic Medicine, Upledger, The Barral Institute, Mechanical Link/Paul Chauffer and are experienced in this approach.
